today is the sabbath
Some photos from the weekend (and last week). Very nice to have pete, grant, ryan and phikwe here. Some good venison and beers yesterday. today I made the frankly delicious butternut tortellini with walnut basil sauce. Next time i'll make an elaborate photo tutorial

The butternut filled pasta thingies were so delicious, and apparently walnuts are good for you after dinner (break up those trans fats). Just one note ... if you want to keep the pasta thingies for the following night, you need to add loads of flour to stop them sticking to the container and each other. That's why they broke apart in the pot (but the water looked like the beginnings of a real tasty soup).
